General Information
ASSISTANCE: Bus passengers are asked to assist by making seats in the front rows available for elderly or disabled passengers.
FARES: Please tender the correct fare and be ready to pay on entry to avoid unnecessary delays. Children 15 years and over are required to pay adult fare unless travelling to or from school. Proof of age may be required. Return fares are valid for issue date only. Discounted weekly return tickets are available.
CONCESSION FARES: Concession fare passes must be shown to the driver or full fare will be charged. Children travelling at half fare or on school passes must not occupy a seat whilst adults stand.
INFANTS: Two children under 4 years of age not occupying a seat travel free when accompanied by an adult. Other infants will be charged child fare.
SCHOOL PASSES: Must be presented to the driver both a.m and p.m. To obtain a bus pass, apply at your school. Mutilated or lost passes can be renewed by applying to the driver or our office. Replacement passes attract a Department of Transport approved fee.
SCHOOL SERVICES: Most school services are not shown on this timetable. For further information, please contact our office. Adults will be carried on school services.
FOOD: Food and refreshments (including chewing gum) must not be consumed on the bus.
SMOKING: Not permitted on buses under transport regulations.
LOST PROPERTY: Enquires can be made at our office during office hours only.
CATCHING THE BUS: When passengers are catching the bus along route, please put your hand up as a stop signal. When hailing the bus from anywhere other than the bus zone, please ensure that the bus can pull up safely and legally. This will be at the driver's discretion. |
